Rare that any place lives up to the hype/its reputation, but Youta Ramen definitely did. Was definitely worth the wait to try their spicy tonkatsu ramen and cucumber tataki salad. Can't wait to try their katsu the next time as the table next to me seemed to really enjoy it. Service was great and the shop was overall warm and inviting. A definite must-try destination.

Located on Old Country Rd, Youta Ramen offers an authentic taste of Japan with a warm and cozy ambiance! I came here on a Friday night, and the place was packed! Although we didn't have a reservation, we were seated right away. However, I would HIGHLY recommend making a reservation, as the restaurant interior is extremely small, and we were definitely lucky to be seated so quickly (as several parties after us were turned away). For 4 we ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen, the shishito truffle salt, the assorted tempura, x3 Youta tonkotsu ramen, tori karaage, spicy tonkotsu ramen, and the una don! Here are some of our highlights: Una Don: (5/5) The crowd favorite!! Everyone in my party absolutely LOVED this dish. The eel was perfectly cooked; however, that wasn't even the highlight. My favorite part of this dish was the fact that on top of the rice, there was a layer of shredded egg, which added the most amazing texture and flavor! I cannot recommend this dish enough Assorted Tempura: (5/5) Some of the best tempura that I've ever had! The batter itself was soo light and airy, so it didn't have that heavy/oily feeling after eating it.

My husband got sick on my birthday and could not take me out to celebrate so he ordered dinner for delivery via Uber Eats. For appetizers, he ordered the tori karaage and Youta gyoza. Portions were generous and it was meant for sharing. Both dishes should be consumed fresh afterwards the grease will be more prominent to the palate. We ordered the Youta Tonkotsu Ramen and the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen. Both dishes when delivered were packaged really well and all the soup contents and broth were separated to get the full tasting experience. Portions were generous. It took me two days to finish my meals. We enjoyed the soup. I definitely would like to dine here just for experience the service and ambiance.

Loved the decor of this restaurant. I was instantly transported back to Japan! -The chicken was so crispy and delicious! Not only was the skin super crispy, but the chicken meat was also super juicy. -The sauce complimented it so well, it was slightly acidic and citrusy so the dish didn't feel too oily or heavy. -The carppaccio was so fresh I could taste the ocean. The carpaccio sauce contained hints of citrus and with the fish was savory and sweet. -The ramen also was amazing! Usually, in NYC, the ramen broths are too salty or heavy, here at youta ramen, the broth was light and each bite left you wanting more! Before I knew it, the entire bowl was gone! The chashu was especially good - it was very thinly sliced and tender! The meat basically fell apart in your mouth. The egg was perfectly cooked! It was slightly sweet, probably because of how fresh it was! It was so soft and tender - it felt like you were biting into a cloud.

Fantastic new Ramen place, interior is fairly small but comfortable and perfect for a cozy date, or quick lunch. We came for an early dinner and tried many dishes. Stand outs were the buns, Karagi and Ramen. Dessert was surprisingly good! Some of the best tempura we've had and service was friendly. We would return for a quick meal anytime. Only think I'd want is availability of chilicrunch or something similar for us spice lovers.

It was such a pleasure to dine at Youta Raman for lunch! Youta Ramen is a small restaurant off Old Country rd. Parking, if you're lucky to find a spot up front. The back parking lot is full so It's on the street for you. Also, are those meters active? I went into the restaurant to grab a few quarters before I sat down. I must point out, the music playing in the restaurant is rockin'! And loud! (Not too loud) I was boppin' and slurpin' man! I zero'd in on the Spicy tonkotsu ramen, my goto favorite. Look at my picture on that noodle pull. Oodles of noodles, mmm mm! I thought the chashu added that extra depth of flavor. And that flavor makes me wanting to come back, I don't say that about Pho. The service was very good, it wasn't too crowded for lunch and my waiter kept stopping by asking if I needed anything. I had two great ramen spots by my home, both closed?! It's comforting to know I have places like Youta Ramen in Mineola when I get a hankering for ramen.

I was truly surprised by Youta! Didn't think I can find high quality ramen on Long Island at a decent price. Our lunch for two was $73 after tip and we thought it was worth it. The gyoza dumplings were juicy and crispy. The fried chicken karaage had an amazing crunch. The black garlic tonkatsu ramen broth was very rich but the thin ramen noodles really married the bowl of goodness together. The spicy tonkatsu was amazing as well. I reserved half of the spicy seasoning and that was perfect for my mild spicy level tolerance. We could not compliment the tender pieces of pork enough. Really well done and would recommend!

I'm not usually at Roosevelt Field so not familiar with restaurants in the area. So I went to yelp and looked up places in and around the mall. Looking for something a little "different" one restaurant caught my eye with all its good reviews. So I headed over to Youta Ramen (58 Old Country Rd Mineola, NY 11501) What a great little place. I was greeted by the staff with big smiles and seated immediately. There are not a lot of tables and most of them filled up as I sat there. I started with the spicy cucumber salad that was fresh and crisp. I then had the pork fried dumplings which were crispy and very tasty. I finished with the Japanese curry with pork. This dish was AMAZING. I have never tried Japanese curry before and I could've just had the curry sauce with rice it was so tasty and not spicy. Growing up in England the taste of the curry reminded me of the chip shop curry sauce I would eat growing up. Anyway, if you find your self near the mall try this delicious little restaurant with the most friendly staff.

Really 4.5 stars. This is actually second time that we came here. The first time, we were not as impressed. The first time we got the Youta Gyoza and edamame, and we were not that impressed with the gyoza. It is an original presentation but taste was just ok. We were much happier with the Karaage and dumplings. And edamame was good but nothing special. Last time, I got the Youta tonkatsu and I was not that impressed with their 16 hour broth. It is not a typical tonkatsu broth. It reminds me of Korean bone broth, which caught me by surprise last time. This time, I knew what to expect and I actually appreciated it much more. The noodles are thinner than others, which I liked. I have had better noodles at other places that have a better chew, but still very good. Overall, very happy! For desserts, we had a parfait party: mango, strawberry and matcha. My favorite was the strawberry. Mix the parfait to fully enjoy. We will be back!!
